United Window Cleaning is a family business serving Cincinnati and the surrounding region. As a family business that originated in 1919, we value our connection with the community and strive to be the best neighbors we can, giving back to Tri-State region organizations and causes that need support. We know the value volunteering and charitable giving can make for a community as well as individuals. This is why we partner with various nonprofit organizations; not only to support their causes, but to make a direct impact on the community we call home.

United Window Cleaning gives back every year to the following organizations, and we’d love for you to get to know a bit more about these groups who help so many of our neighbors. Here’s a little about each group.

American Cancer Society

Founded in 1913, the American Cancer Society originally was called the American Society for the Control of Cancer. More than 100 years ago, a diagnosis of cancer almost always meant death. The organization was formed to raise public awareness about the disease, while exploring new treatments and working towards a cure. Great strides have been in the last 100 years, and to continue this work, help is needed. For ways to become involved with the American Cancer Society, their website lists several.

Multiple Sclerosis Society of Southwest Ohio

Nearly one million people in the United States live with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The MS Society of Southwest Ohio offers resources, services, and support to people living with MS as well as their caregivers and family. In the Cincinnati region, you can become involved in various events and offer time as a volunteer, or sponsor someone who is participating in a fundraising event.

American Diabetes Association

The American Diabetes Association changes lives with the help of their network of 565,000+ volunteers—and there’s room for more. There are many ways to get involved, from volunteering to participating in an event like The Tour de Cure or Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes. The Tour de Cure in Cincinnati will take place October 3, 2020, at Otto Armleder Memorial Park.

Cincinnati Educational Television (CET)

CET provides a range of programming for the Cincinnati area that includes kids and family-friendly shows, arts and musical programs, PBS broadcasting, and local shows like Wild Survival, The Art Show, and River Valley Rhythms. More than 70-percent of CET’s support comes from donors, and we’re proud to partner with CET to help bring award-winning programming to more than two million viewers.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society: Tri-State Southern Ohio

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has worked since 1949 to raise the funds to develop and pioneer research for groundbreaking treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and other blood cancers. The Tri-State Southern Ohio chapter is there for local patients and their families, from the time of diagnosis, throughout treatment, and more. Volunteers are needed for awareness events, fundraising campaigns, and support for education and information programs.
